GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Cecil Moore, along with his wife Shaniqua, are the owners of Moore’s Bakery conveniently located at the Cable Bahamas headquarters and Cost Right. Moore says during the pandemic, they would cook hot meals for local pastors, but one day, one of those pastors gave them an instruction she says came from the Lord.

Moore, who relies daily on an oxygen tank, says the business has been a blessing to help provide for his family.

He credits God’s grace for keeping the family business up and running over the years.

But, thankfully, he says the business has been very well received, not only locally, but across the islands and internationally. He says once customers taste their baked goods, they often request shipping, and the Moores accommodate.

And as to what’s on the menu, well, there’s something for everyone.
