Ken Mullings Prepares for the 2024 Olympics

Ken Mullings is one of the best heptathletes our nation has ever produced. We had the opportunity to talk to him about how he’s raising his game in preparation for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Mullings had the strongest outing of his career at the Hypomeeting in Götzis, Austria, putting him in line for an Olympic spot. He attributes his performance to improved nutrition and work in events that historically challenged him. Currently, Mullings is in Long Island, spending time with his family while continuing his training.

Bahamian Athletes Excel in Baseball

Jazz Chisholm went 1-3, but his one hit was crucial, driving in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 8th inning to help his Miami Marlins secure a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians. In Triple-A, BJ Murray went 2-3 with a single and a solo home run, aiding his Iowa Cubs to a 4-2 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens. Sebastian Walcott hit a single and scored a run as his Single-A Hickory Crawdads won 4-2 over the Greenville Drive.
