Munroe: “Homeowners Should Be Mindful of Safety”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following a murder and shooting at a home in the Marshall Road area, the national security minister says there’s little the state can do with events like these.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following that murder and shooting at a home in the Marshall Road area, National Security Minister Wayne Munroe says there’s little the state can do with events like these.
Police say at an event with hundreds of people happened just Saturday night, two off-duty officers were shot and a few hours later, a man was found dead at the site.
Munroe says homeowners should be more mindful of the need for safety.
One resident expressed concern about the incidents happening so close to home.
Munroe also says it’s commendable that the off-duty officers were approaching a man with a firearm as they tried to intervene.
