NASSAU, BAHAMAS – One of the main gateways to the city of Nassau will see millions of visitors this year, but how has business been at the new Nassau Cruise Port since its opening?

With 4.2 million passengers expected to visit the Nassau Cruise Port this year, this could mean big business for those who work nearby. Less than two weeks after its grand opening, vendors at the Nassau Cruise Port say so far, it’s been going well.

As for taxi drivers, Tour Chairman of the Taxi-cab Union, Fredrick Wallace is singing a similar tune. He says business is much better than before.

But some aren’t as happy with the set up of the New Cruise Port saying its crippled their usual income.

For straw vendors who operate just across the street in the Nassau Straw Market, there are mixed reviews.
