Nomination For 2026 Commonwealth Youth Awards Opened On International Youth Day

UNITED KINGDOM – The Commonwealth Secretariat is accepting nominations for the 2026 Commonwealth Youth Awards, honoring young leaders advancing the UN SDGs; winners receive £3,000–£5,000, with announcements during Commonwealth Day Week 2026.

UNITED KINGDOM – The Commonwealth Secretariat has opened nominations for the 2026 Commonwealth Youth Awards, celebrating young changemakers aged 15–29 from its 56 member nations whose work advances the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Regional winners will receive £3,000, while the Commonwealth Young Person of the Year will earn £5,000 to expand their projects.

This year marks the first partnership with the Commonwealth Association, aimed at strengthening support for youth-led innovations in areas from climate action to health.

Nominations close on 17 October 2025, with winners announced during Commonwealth Day Week in March 2026.
