UNITED STATES – Another U.S. deportation flight landed in Peru, Thursday, carrying 106 nationals detained for immigration violations.

Peruvian authorities report 140 citizens have been deported in just the first week of February, with another 680 awaiting removal soon.

Foreign minister Elmer Schialer told congress that since a 2022 agreement with the U.S., over 12,000 undocumented Peruvians have been sent home.
