NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three hundred and forty-three new public school teachers will enter classrooms this year.

The new hires attended an orientation Wednesday ahead of the new school semester set to begin on August 28.

Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson, on hand for the orientation, says this year they’re welcoming a number of speech pathologists.
