Peace March, Motorcade And Prayer Rally

One business owner in the Grove community is stepping up to lead the fight against gang violence across the island.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With gang violence seemingly running rampant on the island in recent months, particularly in the Grove community, one local business owner is stepping up to lead the fight against the growing impetuous acts.

Owners of the Fish Pot restaurant, Michlene and Gary Williams explain why they hosted a peace motorcade and rally.



Williams says in preparation of the event, he visited several businesses and churches in the community.

Participants of the motorcade also passing out flyers to members of the community as they made their way to second street, Cynthia ‘Mother’ Pratt Park.
