NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Leader of the Free National Movement, Michael Pintard, says over the next few days he, and his party, will go over the finer details of the 2023/2024 budget.

But, based on what they know so far, he says the party’s suspicions were confirmed as Prime Minister Philip Davis talked about the country’s economic performance and sought to take credit for it.

According to Pintard, the international community has clearly talked bout the policies of the previous FNM administration which has set the country on a path of recovery.

The opposition leader adding one of their greatest concerns is the ease in which the prime minster talks about transparency.

He also had this to say as it relates to the government’s statement about its contribution to reducing the national debt.

The budget communication also highlighting the government’s plans for addressing crime throughout the country.

The FNM leader also noting that there were no mention of future plans for the National Insurance Board or local government.
