PM Clears Up Gov’t Deficit
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister telling Parliament he mispoke during his Mid-Year Budget Communication last week when he said government deficit increased by $7.8 million.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister telling Parliament he mispoke during his Mid-Year Budget Communication last week when he said government deficit increased by $7.8 million.
Last week, Davis said the government saw a net deficit of $285.7 million.
However in Parliament on Wednesday, Davis said the deficit decreased by $5.3 million.
East Grand Bahama MP Kwasi Thompson informing Parliament that figures in the stories published last week came from the prime minister.
