NASSAU, BAHAMAS – African Caribbean leaders, senior government officials, business leaders and others enjoying traditional African song and dance during the AAM2024 hosted at Baha Mar.

Prime Minister Philip Davis, telling attendees that our journey to economic prosperity is deeply connected to our shared heritage and collective strength. 

He also says growing up on Cat Island, he always believed in the country’s limitless potential

While referencing the piracy era in The Bahamas, he says it was a period that challenged the systems of exploitation and inequality.

Going forward, the prime minister says Africa and the Caribbean must unify voices, harness the collective intellectual and diplomatic resources and drive forward a transformation that will redefine the global financial landscape.
