Police: Don’t Make Yourself A Target for Criminals

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As crime continues to be a major concern for many and police are encouraging residents to not make themselves easy targets for criminals. 

Police say more and more residents are making themselves sitting ducks for crimes. 

Describing these incidents as opportunistic crimes, Police Press Liaison Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings warned residents on the potential danger of sitting in their cars at night. 

Police reporting two early armed robbery incidents in the wee hours Monday morning where residents were robbed of their vehicles in separate incidents. 

Skippings encouraging residents to practice the same habits they do when travelling.
