Police Investigate Early Morning Homicide

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Chief Superintendent Michael Johnson told the media that the country’s latest homicide victim appears to be in his mid twenties.

The homicide took place on Cowpen Road just east of Golden Isle Road.

“Sometime around 7:00am police received an anonymous call about a man that was found lying on the southern side of this street,” the head of the Criminal Investigation Department said.

“When officers arrived they met a dark man with gunshot wounds.”

Chief Superintendent Johnson said the body was there no more than an hour prior to the police’s arrival.
