Police Protection Expanded In Schools This Year

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With just hours to go before the official start of the school year, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr. Chaswell Hanna touted the program’s success as the reason for no stabbings in public schools last academic year. 

While he praised the partnership between the Ministry of Education, union leaders and the public, he sends “this” word of caution to business owners and vendors operating in school zones and to parents this cautionary note.
