UNITED STATES – The Powerball Jackpot climbs again, hitting $775M ahead of Wednesday night’s drawing, becoming one of the ten biggest in Powerball history.

The prize has not been won since September when a $1.787B jackpot was split between tickets in Missouri and Texas.

Powerball says the odds of winning are one in more than 292 million.

A two-dollar ticket gives players five white numbers and one red Powerball, while the jackpot keeps growing until someone matches them all.

Winners can take a lump sum or thirty payments over 29 years.

The current cash value is $362.5M.

Powerball says it has generated an estimated $36B for charitable causes since 1992.
