NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Now that the summer months are here, many residents will see an increase in their electricity bills, but you may be able to spend less by using energy more efficiently.

With the rising cost of electricity, many Bahamians are now leaning toward powering their homes using solar energy.

But, before you turn to using solar energy as an option, General Manager at Super Green Solutions, Philipp Feller says there are more affordable solutions.

One important factor is paying attention to the appliances you use in your home.

And now that the summer months are here, more Bahamians will be using air conditioning which uses a lot of electricity. However, Feller says there’s a few things you can do to beat the heat without the sweat of higher costs.

He says you can also save on your electricity bill by simply unplugging your devices and appliances when you’re not using them.

Now to learn more on how you can power your home more efficiently, you can find Philipp Feller and the Super Green team on social media at Super Green Solutions Bahamas or call 603-7872.
