NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Clint Watson, on the defense, following reports that he has received a new appointment.

Watson, Thursday, addressed social media reports claiming he has been appointed a consultant at the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas.

During the weekly press briefing, Watson said he’s simply there to assist with what is already under his portfolio.

As for whether it is a paid appointment, Watson denied those claims. He was also questioned on his role becoming a conflict of interest, to which he responded, saying there will be no preferential treatment.
