EXUMA, BAHAMAS – A new tourism initiative is seeking to capitalize on the country’s multitude of natural resources in a more meaningful way.

As Megan Shepherd tells us the project in partnership with the Bahamas National Trust seeks to protect and preserve sustainable tourism. 

The Ministry of Tourism is partnering with the trust to create the “Protecting What’s Home” initiative, aimed at preserving our natural resources. 

Minister Chester Cooper explained how the preservation project came about.
