NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Sandilands Rehabilitation Center gearing up to host their 12th Annual Geriatric Push-A-Thon on June 3rd. 

Committee Chairman, Dr. Sasha Dorsett says the annual event is all in a effort for the geriatric hospital to promote healthy aging within the Bahamian community.

Helping to make the event a success are corporate sponsors, Colina and ALIV.

ALIV CEO John Gomez, noting that one of the core pillars of success for the company is a focus on community. 

To this end, ALIV has donated three wheelchairs to the geriatric hospital not only for the push-a-thon, but to meet the needs of seniors with mobility issues.

This year’s push a thon will be held under the patronage of the Deputy Governor General, Cynthia “Mother” Pratt.
