NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Motorists who travel along Village Road can now enjoy a smoother ride following the extensive road improvement project.

Business owners in the area still have some concerns for repairing damages incurred during the multimillion dollar road work project. 

Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears says remedial work is ongoing. 

He adds that sidewalks are also being constructed.

Some businesses owners we spoke to said while the road improvement project was necessary, it placed a strain on their operations.

It’s an issue the government is now seeking to address.
