Ray Minus Jr. Donation by Modelo and Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Modelo beer, well known for its support of boxing throughout the world, was proud to support the Bahamas’ own Ray Minus Junior for an all-female boxing match held in his honour on March 31st. 

Sadly, Minus passed away shortly after the fundraiser in late April.  He was suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS.  

“ALS disease is not highlighted much in The Bahamas,” noted Brandante McDonald, Modelo Brand Representative. “Modelo, goes hand in hand with boxing and we were proud to support the fundraising event so we could extend some extra assistance to Ray’s family.”  

Modelo is distributed by Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits, whose team all turned out to support the event.  “Modelo and Jimmy’s want to help the Minus Jr. family continue the boxing legends’ support of young and upcoming boxers in The Bahamas,” added McDonald.
