NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Royal Bahamas Defence Force Marine gunned down Thursday night, as the murder count climbs to 63. Now police are searching for the motive.

Cries of pain and grief as the body of the victim was removed from the scene.

Family members identifying him as Joevonte Miller, a serving marine in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.

The man in his 20s was gunned down on Pine Yard Road last night around 8pm.

Commodore of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Dr. Raymond King sending condolences to the family.

The motive of the murder is still unclear.
