NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was a project four years in the making, and this past Friday, the re-imagined Nassau Cruise Port was officially opened in grand style.

Former Minister of Tourism, Dionsio D’Aguilar, instrumental during the initial phase of the project, says as a Bahamian, he is proud to see this major project come to fruition.

The former tourism minister says he is pleased with how the $300 million dollar development turned out.

While many are enjoying the look and feel of the new cruise port, there still remains concern about the downtown area.
