NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Some workers at The Bahamas Technical Vocational Institute gathering outside the school’s gates to protest what they say are stalled negotiations on an industrial agreement.

The group says the agreement includes salary and sick day benefits among other things.

Representative for the group Mario Gay is now calling on government to intervene on their behalf.

Our News reached out to the lead negotiator at the institution for a response and we were told there was no comment per instructions by the interim president’s office.

The protestors say they are not interested in further negotiations, but they want the agreement to be simply signed.
