Suriname President Heads To Bahamas For U.S. Talks

SURINAME – Suriname President Chandrikapersad Santokhi left the country Wednesday to attend Thursdays’s meeting in The Bahamas.

SURINAME – Suriname President Chandrikapersad Santokhi left the country Wednesday to attend Thursdays’s meeting in The Bahamas between regional leaders and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

Suriname’s Minister of State, International Business and International Cooperation, Albert Ramdin, told the government communication service that Santokhi will speak on how the country can play a pivotal role in helping CARICOM reduce its import bill.
