NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Each December 10th is International Human Rights Day and during the CARICOM regional office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights event, recognizing the day at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas, there was an issue that stood out when it comes to factors hampering human rights.

Climate disasters pose a strain to many human rights, one of them being the right to development.
