NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Is The Bahamas a Christian nation? It’s the subject of this week’s opinion column ‘As I See’ It’ by Tanya Smith-Cartwright.

The author establishes upfront that being in church doesn’t make you any more of a Christian, than standing in the garage makes you a Cadillac.

She posits that being a Christian nation is what we have been taught from we were children.

But with that, she questions: Can we genuinely say that our leaders exhibit what was previously described? And who is governing us and ensuring that we keep our Christian principles as we are touted as a “Christian nation”?
