The Mid-Year Budget Fell Short in Multiple Areas
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister had high hopes for the country’s financial future in his mid-year budget address, but when asked to sum up his opinion on the mid-year budget address, Leader of the Opposition Michael Pintard says it was “deeply disappointing.”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister had high hopes for the country’s financial future in his mid-year budget address, but when asked to sum up his opinion on the mid-year budget address, Leader of the Opposition Michael Pintard says it was “deeply disappointing.”
The Free National Movement leader says that while there has been higher than expected growth, it’s not only because of the Progressive Liberal Party’s actions.
Pintard reiterated the address fell short in multiple areas, saying it was often lacking context or vital details, which only leads to more questions.
The Opposition leader also called the Davis administration out for what he feels are overly optimistic projections for revenue.
