UNITED KINGDOM – MP’s in the UK are debating a report which found Boris Johnson deliberately misled MP’s over parties in lockdown.

Johnson would have faced a 90-day suspension if he were still an MP – but he quit after being sent the report’s findings in advance.

They also recommended he should not be allowed a pass which lets ex-MP’s freely access parliament.

The commons is expected to approve the committee’s recommendations, after the former PM asked his supporters not to oppose it if it comes to a vote.

Opposition labour say Prime Minister Rishi Sunak – who is not expected at the debate – is “Too weak” to stand up to Johnson.
