U.S.A. – U.S. President Joe Biden has proposed major reforms to the Supreme Court, calling for term limits and a code of ethics to restore trust.

Biden suggests appointing a new justice every two years to serve 18-year terms and establishing ethics rules for justices.

He also seeks a constitutional amendment to limit presidential immunity, reversing a recent supreme court decision.

The reform efforts, though unlikely to pass in congress, aim to galvanize voters ahead of the 2024 election.

Republicans have criticized these moves, accusing Biden of trying to undermine the court’s legitimacy.
