NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dozens of visibly frustrated staff at the University of The Bahamas gathered in solidarity outside the university’s performing arts theater to protest.

Their concern are centered on not getting salary increases since 2007.

This is the third demonstration in seven months and Bahamas Public Services Union President Kimsley Ferguson says they’re being treated like second-class citizens.

They say enough is enough.

Doubling up on the frustrations, ferguson claims the union reached out to officials at the university with hopes of getting an update.

Ferguson also had this to say.

We  reached out to both the president of the university and the labor minister but got no response up to news time.
