NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Over the last few weeks, there have been more than 150 new registrations and over 50 transfers in the West Grand Bahama and Bimini constituency, as residents gear up to select their new member of parliament.

Acting Parliamentary Commissioner is Arthur Taylor.

A by-election must now take place following the death of former West Grand Bahama and Bimini MP Obie Winchcombe.

But how soon can we see the by-election?

While the day of the by-election is still a mystery, voters are encouraged to register now.

If you live in that constituency, are registered to vote, and are in possession of your purple voters card, he says you do not have to register again.
