Debris, ash, and burnt wood is all that’s left of a small area where four food stalls once stood.

A fire breaking out in the early hours of Sunday morning at Potter’s Cay Dock.

Police say a boat in the harbor caught fire which led to the blaze spreading to the stalls burning them to the ground.

For those vendors, the stalls are a main source of income

Other operators had plans for the holidays.

Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources Jomo Campbell releasing a statement saying the focus now is ensuring vendors who were impacted will be restored to some sense of normality as soon as possible.
