WASHINGTON – The World Bank reporting that although the Latin America and Caribbean region has achieved substantial economic stabilization in recent decades, growth has now stalled.

In its latest report, the Washington-based financial institution says the lac has reached a critical juncture where immediate action is needed to change this trajectory.

The World Bank forecasts that regional gross domestic product will expand by 1 point 6 percent in 2024 and that GDP growth of 2 point 7 percent.
