One concern some people have when it comes to cosmetic surgery, is that vulnerable people may see procedures as a quick fix for mental struggles or become addicted to procedures.
Cosmetic and Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Johnathan Higgins explains the preventative measures doctors take.
But what is body dysmorphia? Higgins breaks down the signs and the symptoms of the struggle.
Dr. Higgins adds that although he’s open to consultations, he doesn’t typically do cosmetic operations on people under the age of 25.
