NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s Public Service Week, and the theme this year is ‘Honoring the Past, Enhancing the Present and Shaping the Future’. To jumpstart the week, Aliv, welcomed 20 uniquely-abled people as a part of the Professional Engagement Program for Gainful Employment Program.

Over the next 52 weeks, 20 uniquely-abled persons will have the opportunity to work in various departments as a part of the Aliv Connect Program. CBL VP of Human Resources Edward Duncombe and CEO of Cable Group of Companies, Franklyn Butler, both say they’re extremely happy to welcome the group.

Minister of State for Public Service, Pia Glover-Rolle says the public service professional engagement program is about inclusivity, especially for those who have felt disenfranchised.
