Business Picks Up At Park Holiday Market

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – If you are looking for the perfect gift at a reasonable price you may be able to find it at the R.M Bailey Park as vendors are out in large numbers at the annual holiday market.

Our News visited the park on Tuesday afternoon and spoke with vendors and most say they are looking forward to spreading some holiday cheer.

If you’ve passed the park lately you would’ve seen lots of tents erected with good finds from jewelry to bicycles to stuffed animals to clothing.

This vendor who chose to stay anonymous says she has been a part of the annual tradition since the late 90’s.

Lana Smith says the support has been good from the public.

Vendor Shivaughn Atkison says this is her third year selling jewelry.

Smith says there is now an association and she’s pleased to see how much the market has grown over the years.
