NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Vernice Johnson-Sawyer, known as “Boss Robber,” is famous for her dazzling outfits, blonde hair, and larger-than-life personality. But nowadays, she’s in the fight of her life, battling colon cancer.

Her medical expenses are already more than a quarter of a million dollars. Supported by her family, she’s taken to fundraising events. And the outpouring of support so far has been overwhelming.
