GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The week may have been difficult for many who continue to heal from the tragedies brought on by deadly hurricane Dorian, others using the time of commemoration as a celebration of life.

The Grand Bahamian community showing up in numbers to the New Life Worship Center for the National Hurricane Dorian Memorial Concert series on Friday.

It was a night filled with singing and dancing, for delegates and residents showing out in support of the Hurricane Dorian Memorial Concert in Grand Bahama.

Welcoming attendees to the memorial event, Prime Minister Philip Davis, sharing a positive message about trusting in God.

Davis says he knows that for many, this time of year is especially difficult.

Those in attendance hearing from the best in Grand Bahamian gospel talent, like the Interdenominational Mass Choir.
