GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Gold Rock, the company at the center of controversy with the Grand Bahama Port Authority, speaking out once again saying port officials were given multiple chances to meet or speak with the Del Zotto family, before it decided to close its doors.

In its most recent statement the company saying, the decision was the result of the GBPA’s failure to be transparent, adding it believes, Grand Bahama would thrive under different administrative circumstances.

Just last week Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard urged all involved to lower the tone and temperature in their press releases.

Pintard is not the only politician to weigh in on this, last week the prime minister said he had reached out to the family in a bid to see if the issues can be worked out and jobs saved.
