Guyana Gets Six New Regional Hospitals

GUYANA – Guyana’s Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony says work is progressing smoothly at the sites of six new regional hospitals.

GUYANA – Guyana’s Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony says work is progressing smoothly at the sites of six new regional hospitals.

Anthony told the Department of Public Information that the contractor has already completed land preparation at the sites.

He says each of the modern hospitals will be 65,000 square feet and equipped with 75 hospital beds and is expected to ease the burden on the country’s main medical facility, the Georgetown Public Hospital.
