NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of planning the murder of a homicide detective has been granted bail.

Justice Camille Darville-Gomez set bail at $30,000 for Roger Wallace on the condition that he wears an ankle monitor, reports to police three times a week and keeps a curfew.

Prosecutors say while behind bars awaiting trial on a murder charge Wallace and another person conspired to murder Sergeant Raphael Miller on March 13.

The charge stems from an alleged WhatsApp voice message in which a person says, “Officer Miller won’t stop until four rifle man pop up at his door and (expletive) up his head.”
