Murder Suspect Arraigned for February 5 Murder

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A murder suspect who was featured on a wanted poster is now in custody. 

Jadre “Mice” Evans is behind bars charged with the February 5 murder of Desmond Smith at Gambier Village.

Smith, who was also known as Strap, was fatally shot outside a bar in the area.

Evans was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain.

Bail was denied and Evans is next due in court in May.
