Tears and thanksgiving as 72 police recruits graduated on Friday. Among them, those who answered a call to serve the country, and chart a new course.

Police Constable Addison Bethel says his decision to join the police force was not solely for himself.

The newly graduated officers say some of the training was tough, but they got through it with a mission in mind.

Recruit Cameron Chery describes the five long months of training.

During the passing out ceremony on Friday, Police Commissioner Paul Rolle explained the need for police officers to be prepared to go into the communities.
