NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The New Providence Basketball Association semifinals set to start Tuesday, at the A F Adderley Gym.

On the Division 2 side of the things the Essential Store Giants will face off against the Rebels in game one of their series at 7. Meanwhile in D1 the Discount Distributors Liquors Rockets will take on the Caro Contractors Shockers in the feature game at 8:30pm.

To the NBA where with the regular season now into its final few weeks. Games running out for Buddy Hield and his Indiana Pacers already way out of the playoff picture.

Pacers taking on the Charlotte Hornets who have the services of fellow Bahamian Kai Jones. Jones, who hasn’t played much all season, saw some minutes last night as the Hornets get the win 115-109.

Hield scored 20 points and 4 rebounds in the loss. Jones left the court with 2 points and 3 rebounds in the win.

Finally, from golf the Junior Golf Federation launching a new youth golf program they hope to pay huge dividends in attracting young players to the sport.
