NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A third generation entrepreneur, 27-year-old Fredrea Black says she always knew she would be a business owner, but what she did not know was that her passion would lead her to the beauty industry. Black started helping other lash technicians get certified while living in Missouri in 2016. Six months later, she tried her hand and admits she got off to a rocky start.

Now the owner of Mink Mansions for some 7 years, Black says she’s proud of her growth. In 2019, she moved back to Grand Bahama, just two months before Hurricane Dorian ravished the island and that was quickly followed by the pandemic.

Despite those challenges, Black now offers consistent services in Florida and Freeport complimented by pop up services in New Providence and other Family Islands and with her packed schedule, black shares her motivation to do it all.

The entrepreneur has also created her own line of intimate products.
