Police: Former FTX Chief Has Not Been Interviewed

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has not been interviewed by Bahamian police, according to Commissioner of Police Clayton Fernander.

Fernander was questioned by reporters on the status of the investigation, Wednesday morning.

While he could not offer many details, Fernander said the Securities Commission of The Bahamas is leading the investigation, and the Royal Bahamas Police Force is working along with them.

As for whether local police have met with Bankman-Fried, Fernander emphatically denied a meeting, adding that the RBPF has not been in communication with authorities from the United States about the investigation.
