NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 40-year old man lost his life here in the capital around 10pm Friday night when a man dressed in camouflage jacket walked up to him and shot him several times.

According to police this incident took place at the western side of Farmers’ Market located at Baillou Hill Road, South. The man took off in a dark colored Nissan Cube.

The victim was being monitored by police and, on bail for a serious offense.

And in Grand Bahama early Saturday morning, hospital officials alerted police that a man came in with gunshot injuries.

Police immediately started an investigation into the matter and have reported that the man was shot while at a business establishment in the Eight Mile Rock area.

He was approached by a man and was shot in the face. He was taken to hospital and is listed in serious condition. The police are continuing to investigate these matters.
