NASSAU, BAHAMAS – MAKO Aquatics Swim Team are the five-time defending champions at the Bahamas National Swimming Championships.

Coming in second was the Barracudas Swim Club who racked up 1,519 points. Their head coach is Cameron Bruney. He was extremely impressed with his team’s overall performance.

Director of Training for Alpha Aquatics, who placed third overall, is Andy Loveitt.

Then there’s the Blue Waves Swim club coached by Dellan Brown.

Meanwhile, the San Francisco giants had a historic run-scoring output in their weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Giants swept their hated in-state rival in a 3-game series scoring a record 29 runs a record for a 3-game series in the Dodgers’ home stadium. They also handed the Dodgers their worst home shutout loss since 1898, beating them 15-0 on Saturday afternoon,

The shellacking of the Dodgers moves the Giants to 2nd in their division, with the Arizona Diamondbacks ahead of them.

The record places them firmly in line for a wild card slot, but there’s a lot of season left so they still can plausibly run down Arizona and take the division lead.
