NASSAU, BAHAMAS – 28-year old Ricarra Dean is seeking to make life easier for local residents here in New Providence as well as family islanders looking to get tasks done on the islands. Her new platform, Task Bunny Bahamas, seeks to pair persons needing tasks done with skilled persons looking to earn money.

Dean, who obtained her masters in Business Administration in China, says this business has been in the pipeline for some time. And now, today, it officially goes live online.

Dean, who is originally from Eleuthera, says she understands the costs most Bahamians incur when traveling to New Providence to conduct business. She says she hopes her platform provides a new alternative.

She says one of the biggest challenges she’s had to overcome was self doubt, and by sharing her story, she hopes to inspire others.

If you’re interested in the new platform, go to www.taskersignup.com.

Here’s Dean’s advice for other aspiring entrepreneurs.

“You’re always going to be afraid, so do it afraid.”
